British Triathlon Affiliated Club
Thinking of attempting a triathlon or striving to improve?
Charing Cross Triathlon Club (CCTC) was established in 2010 to give beginners and established triathletes a focus for training and a network to meet fellow athletes.
CCTC is held on Tuesday evenings from 7.00pm to 8.00pm. This session is pool based, focusing on technique, speed and stroke improvement. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own training aids whenever possible.
Beate Vogt is a BTF Level 3 qualified triathlon coach and Level 2 swim teacher. She began coaching runners in 2003 and has been working with triathletes since 2006. Beate is very enthusiastic about coaching and loves to share her knowledge while continuing to learn and develop as a coach. Her personal coaching interests include all the triathlon disciplines and all distances from Sprint to Ironman. She was awarded Regional Participation Coach of the Year 2011.
Beate has been running since the late 70s and has completed a number of marathons and a wide range of road and cross-country events. She discovered triathlons in the late 80s when the sport was still in its very early stages. Alongside several Sprint and Olympic triathlons she has raced through the finish line at a number of Half Ironman and two full Ironman events. In 2010 Beate represented the GB Team at the World Championships in Budapest and in 2011 at the European Championships in Pontevedra, Spain.
The Triathlon Club is free to all inclusive/sports members and £15 for non-members. Please pay at club reception.
